Ms. Bhanu Vig has had a diversified career of over 37 years in the Hospitality Industry. She is a first division pass out of IHM Mumbai and started her career in 1986 with Ashok Group of Hotels as Management Trainee. She worked at various managerial positions in star category hotels till she took VRS in 2002 when she was at a level of Executive Manager. She has worked as Manager with Union Public Service Commission and Delhi Secretariat directly under the Chief Minister, Delhi Ms. Sheila Dixit. In 2004 she joined Amity University and started her academics career as a Senior Lecturer. She became the founder Principal of Chandigarh College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Landran Mohali, in 2005 and made a state of art College which is one of best college in Punjab. Since then till 2014, she has been the founder Principal of three colleges and gave consultancy to two more colleges. She has been the Chairperson of Board of studies for Hotel Management and Airline services, with Punjab Technical University and has been instrumental in upgrading the curriculum of B.Sc. HMCT and B.Sc. ATHM (Airlines tourism and hospitality management). During her academic career she did Masters in Tourism Management and MBA in Human Resource Management. In 2014 she decided to go back to the hotels and joined ITC Fortune Hotels as Training Manager for a year till she was selected as Principal, IHM Kurukshetra. She upgraded the infrastructure of IHM Kurukshetra and got the institute approved for PM YUVA YOJNA and ITEC program under Ministry of External Affairs. The institute was ranked at 24 no. by India Today in 2020-21.
Dr. Anil Lakhera
Dr. Anil Lakhera is an alumnus of the GIHM Dehradun, where he not only earned his foundational education but also nurtured his passion for the hospitality industry. Armed with a profound academic background, he holds M.Sc.(Hotel Management) and MBA(Sales & Marketing). His pursuit of knowledge led him to attain a Ph.D. in Management, showcasing his commitment to scholarly excellence. With an impressive career spanning over 25 years, Dr. Lakhera has seamlessly blended his expertise in both industry and academics. His journey includes notable stints at renowned establishments’ such as The Imperial New Delhi, The Claridges New Delhi, Old World Hospitality, Graphics Era University, and Kukreja IHM, Dehradun prior to joining IHM, Kurukshetra.
Before his current role at IHM, Kurukshetra, Dr. Anil Lakhera contributed significantly to the hospitality sector, leaving an indelible mark at every step. His academic achievements, coupled with his practical experience, position him as a valuable asset in the field of hospitality management, Dr. Anil Lakhera’s commitment to excellence is further underscored by his Ph.D. in Management, attesting to his intellectual prowess.

Working as a Senior Lecturer, he has an experience of about 22 years, in the field of Culinary Arts. He has worked with HRH Group of Hotels, Udaipur; SADTM (currently Jaipur National University), Jaipur; and the Institute of Hotel Management, Jaipur. He has been working here, since the inception of this Institute in 2008.
Alumni of IHM, Lucknow (Batch 2001), have also completed an M.A. (Tourism Management) and an MBA (Hospitality Management).
He has authored 4 books.

2.”Principles of Food Production Operations”
3.”Aahar Charitra”
4.”The Real Deal about Your Meal”.
He has been awarded the prestigious “Gourmand World Cookbook Award” in two categories from India: “Best Cooking Schools” and “Best Culinary Travel Book” for the year 2015 for his first book on Indian Cuisine.

An alumnus of IHM Bhubaneswar, having more than 20 years of experience in Teaching and Hotel Industry ( Jay Pee Group, Orchid, Intercontinental and P&O Cruise). He has also worked with Pvt. Institute of Hotel Management for a brief period before joining IHM, Kurukshetra.He has successfully completed P.M Yuva Yojana Programme ( Yuva Udyamita Vikas Abhiyan) under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and awarded by National Project Director.He also act as a Nodal Officer of Scholarship of institute from August 2018.
Mr. Manoj Chaudhary

An Alumnus of IHM-Bangalore. Mr. Manoj Chaudhary has done B.sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHM and also Masters of Tourism Management from IGNOU. He has done his industrial exposure training from Hyatt Regency, Delhi.
He has started his career in hospitality industry in 2003 with Taj Group of Hotels as hotel operations Management Trainee (HOMT) and worked at various positions with repute star category hotels, restaurants and cruise lines before joining IHM-Kurukshetra as Lecturer in 2011.
He has also gone through various faculty development programs like D.T.S. (Direct Trainer Skills)from DoPT (GOI), CLF (certified learning facilitator) from NCHM.
Mr. Ravindra Pandey
Lecturer cum Instructor
Graduate in Science (Chemistry Zoology) and a topper from G.I.H.M. Almora, Uttrakhand with 3-Year Diploma in Hotel Management. He is Master’s in Tourism Management from IGNOU and a certified in Direct Trainer Skill (D.T.S.), D.O.T. (Designer of Training) from DoPT (Department of Personnel & Training) Government of India with 11 year experience in Education & Hotel industry. Prior to joining I.H.M, Kurukshetra he has worked at I.H.M, Dehradun.

Dr. Rahul Bharti

Mr. Rahul Bharti has done four year Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from HNB, Garhwal University and Masters in hotel and tourism management. He is presently pursuing Doctorate degree from School of Tourism and Hospitality Service Management, IGNOU. He has worked with Anandas in the Himalayas- world’s No.1 Destination Spa Hotel. He has taught with Kurukshetra University affiliated colleges, MM University Mullana and has a total of 12 years of hospitality experience. He coordinated Training and Placement at the Institute from 2011 to 2014 & 2017 -18.
He is the State Convener of Haryana Environmental Society (HES) an NGO which has planted and nurtured more than 2 lac trees in Haryana state. He is also the Author of the book on Mystic Poetry “The Nothing of Everything”
